My daughter was enrolled into Nile Grove Playgroup for a few months and I wish it had lasted longer. Indeed she was much happier there than at her nursery. Compared to it, I found Nile Grove Playgroup much more family-oriented, peaceful and structured: fewer children, more adults, in a well-organized, warm and clean playroom. The children benefit from a routine and they play, eat, sing, go outside each day. The proposed activities change between each session. The nursery was experiencing a high turnover; in Nile Grove, I always met the same members of staff, whose skill and dedication I could witness. In short, I thank the people of Nile Grove Playgroup and highly recommend it to all parents!
Can highly recommend this lovely playgroup. My son went here for a year from 2 and a quarter. Great to have few hours back in the morning and a great bridge to school nursery.
This Playgroup is excellent. Elaine, Sarah, Morag and Victoria are all lovely and really care for the children. I know my little one will really miss it.
My daughter loved this playgroup and still asks about it now a year on. It’s a lovely nurturing environment and the staff are wonderful.
Our energetic and strong-minded little boy has loved Nile Grove playgroup. The staff are fun, firm and full of energy which helped him settle in very easily and he is thriving in a busy space full of other children his age and stage.
My son started at Nile Grove Playgroup when he was a little under 2 and a half and settled easily. He really looks forward to the mornings that he attends playgroup as he has such a lot of fun. Bridget and Sarah are fantastic with the children. They are caring and nurturing while also helping the children to become independent in a structured and supportive environment. Snacks are always healthy and the children spend at least part of the morning outside (weather permitting). The morning is planned well and each day follows a similar pattern, which my son finds very reassuring. Making friends with other local children means he should also adjust more easily to school, when the time comes.
Two of my children have attended Nile Grove. They have both loved it. Staff are friendly and genuinely care about the children. They engage meaningfully with children in the group. There is a nice structure to the mornings which includes time outside and a healthy and varied snack. The whole playgroup community is very friendly and welcoming and the children are given opportunities to experience activities such as obstacle courses and visits from Santa etc. Parents are kept well informed of events via emails and newsletters. I would thoroughly recommend this playgroup who is looking for a nurturing environment, where their child is valued.
My son absolutely loved his time at playgroup and was devastated when it was time to move on. The staff are fantastic with a wide variety of toys both indoors and in the wonderful garden. The playgroup is very welcoming and well run. I would definitely recommend it.
Both my daughters attended Nile Grove. It was the first time they had been away from me and the care and support we received helped all of us settle in to a new routine. The staff are fantastic and we were sad when it was time to say goodbye.
